There’s nothing quite like the freedom of exploring the vast beauty found in nature by road trip. Finding hidden gems tucked in untouched places, off the beaten path. Curating the perfect playlist and snack rotation, leaving completely refreshed and in awe of the memories created together.
It has been such a joy to create this collection of work. Creating paintings inspired by reference photos that have been collected from years past. I have drawn on my reserve of peace that only comes through nature and poured it into these paintings. Peaceful, meditative, restful joy.

This painting was inspired by Upper Kananaskis Lake, Alberta and was created to reflect the blissful peace felt while dipping in a refreshingly cold lake after a hot, summer day in the security of the Rocky Mountains.
